Beautiful Konik Pony at Wicken Fen
There are two herds of these ponies used for conservational grazing at the National Trust Wicken Fen. These were two of the stallions in the group
Bradgate Park, Leicestershire
It was a dull day at Bradgate Park but still plenty to see. Some big herds of both fallow and red deer. Some of the Red Deer stags have started to cast their antlers ready for the new season growth
Newmarket Gallops
Whilst staying in Newmarket took an early morning walk up to the gallops to watch some of the 3000 racehorses stabled in Newmarket take an early morning gallop. Whilst there I was invited to walk a little closer to the gallops to watch and photograph the horses coming up the hill
